Learning Through Internships Students meet with the Internship Coordinator to discuss interests and passions. They begin an interest exploration process followed by informational interviews to businesses of interest. Students would then arrange for a shadow day at that business, from there an internship would be established two full days per week. Students are asked to commit to 3 months at the internship and at its completion can explore other options or stay on. Internship sites currently include: ØMystic Aquarium ØComcast cable ØSpirit of Broadway ØLisbon Veterinarian Hospital ØLisbon Central School ØWayne’s Organic Gardens ØMotor Sports Nation ØNorwich Bulletin ØFlex Salon and Style ØLisbon Senior Center ØLisbon Country Stables ØLocal restaurants ØKid-n-Kaboodle Day Care ØQuiet Corner Grooming ØBMTees Screen printing and design ØAutomotive and Detailing ØLilies and Lilac’s ØMichael’s Catering ØCommunity Kitchens ØPlainfield Preschool Internships are based on student's interests/passions and are not limited to the above sites. |
